Spring Time Yet?

Even though it was another wet weekend, so many things were starting to bloom so I forced us to get out of the house and see what was popping up. So many neat things to see and I wish I knew what everything was that I photograph. I’m only sure of one thing that I take pictures of and that is Porter. Yep, I know who he is and he makes sure everyone knows who he is.
I’ve also been trying to get back into running, so while I was taking pictures, I was running in between. Oh, and feeding ducks, too.  I logged 20 miles this week and met my goal. I’m going to try to do it again this week. We will see how it goes.
I also let Porter roam a little bit at the Museum; there are “safe” parts for a lot of the little kids. I think it blew his mind that there were so many birds and they weren’t running away from him…haha!

Boots made from gum

It was a busy weekend but I forgot to take my camera with us where ever we went…not that we went anywhere too exciting. Saturday, we ran a lot of errands and I got Porter some new gumboots…you may also know them as also known as rubber boots, wellies, topboots, billy-boots, gumboots, gumbies, gummies, and rain boots. Apparently, there is a learning curve to walking in these for infants. Porter thinks they’re pretty cool and he loves to bring them to me to have me put them on him. Then he stumbles around with high steps making sure to be very careful of his foot placement. Cracks me up!
Sunday, I had my social group over for coffee and biscuits. This is a “new mum’s” group. I joined it thinking I was a new mum but I have the oldest kid! All these mothers ask me all sorts of questions about the next steps. I think it is funny that they’re asking me for advice; what do I know?
Anyway, sorry for the lack of pictures this time but it didn’t pan out.

Such a charmer!
